Dont expect to see too much of this until after the warranty has ran out. so in 3 years im guessing we will start seeing more experimentation of the cars.

I plan to lower my car this summer. Unfortunately, no Coilover kit is available now, only spring.

Why would you do that? They can't void the warranty on the entire car because you have aftermarket springs!

No they wont void it out entirely. But since there would be aftermarket springs it would void out the warranty for any suspension issues! Wat I was told from a few ppl.....
But I will be looking further into this.

anything suspension or drive train related i would think to include struts, mounts, trailing arms, cv shafts, etc. not engine or transmission most likely, but everything after that could be suspect to warranty denial.

They would still have to show proof that the springs directly caused the failure of whatever part they're denying the warranty on. It's a federal law.

i understand that. I'm just saying that if any of those parts did fail they could deny it because of the springs if they caused premature wear on any of them. i don't foresee most people taking it to court to prove otherwise

I am ordering the H&R's and having Moore do the install on them next month. Hopefully by the time they wear out the stock shocks someone will have a coilover kit made. lol

I think the "sport" style springs drop it ~1.5 inches. I wouldn't want to go alot lower. I'm not trying to drop the car, just get it clean with a modest drop to look better overall with wheels and tires. Not to mention retaining reasonable ride comfort!

Itll be good to see what that 1.5 drop will be though being 6'4 that's a way down already stock height so I nice drop will be pretty special

So the sport springs already have a drop to it compared to the rest of the models?! Such as base and premium?!

The stock springs? No, afaik they are all the same. The sport models have .2" more ground clearance

The "sport" springs he was referring to are H&R brand springs. They call them sport springs and are ~1.5" lower than OEM.
