not really trolling, that is helping one avoid looking like a huge tool.

Other wise it's Kinda like if I said to some guy wearing his hat back wards with white sunglasses.

"Cool way to wear your hat ***" while I'm wear pants half off my ass with my hat side ways and a big ass winter coat in September.

My dad and I decided to go get frozen yogurt and he gets in my car and immediately, being a Mercedes-Benz guy (97 E420 with 35k), starts making comments about Subaru quality.

Dad: "Is this thing safe?"
Me: "The jaws of life can't even cut through the A-Pillar."
Dad: "Why isn't the AC on? Oh, you don't have separate settings for the passenger? It smells like a jockstrap in here."

Then we get home, and he sees that the garage door is shut. During our previous argument/conversation while leaving, I had put the garage door down; he didn't notice.
Dad: "Oh great, now we can't get in. Where's your garage door opener?"
Now I don't live with my dad, so he was seriously concerned. Then I hit the button on my Subaru Homelink and the door went up as it should.
Me: "Does your Mercedes have that?"
Dad: "It doesn't work."

LOLOLOLOLOLOL MADE MY SATURDAY NIGHT

another one...

I was in my calculus class and my teacher made a comment about the fog to me and the guy I sit next to
I said sarcastically "Well I drive a Subaru, so it was NBD."
My friend says "Really?"
"Yeah, Impreza bro" (Ok, OBS)
"What's the insurance on that?" (knowing my parents pay it)
"It's not a WRX, so not bad actually."
"Okay, well the Accord I'm getting has a VTEC"

If he was a greeter than I could understand his comments. Although since he is a cart boy and made that comment he should be revoked from doing any job that involves wheels. including hanging tire special posters.

Reminds me of when I was searching for my wrx I now have. My dad has always been big into German cars and was constantly pushing me to get a VW or Audi. I had a VW previously and the thing had something wrong with it ALL the time. He couldn't believe me when I said I wanted a Subaru. I got my dream car, a wrx, and could not he happier. I don't know what I would be driving if I didn't have this car.

I park in a parking garage for my class on Monday nights. This green Honda Element parks next to me every time. I'm leaving class and he is standing by his car about to get in.

Him: this is your car right?
Me: Yes it is.
Him: I park next to you just so I can look at it.
Me: I laugh
Him: It's awesome.
Me: Ha thanks.

Exactly why I'm saving up to modify my Outback.

I can't say that I'm determined to get an STI before I finish college while keeping a straight face hahaha. Although saying I want to swap an STI tranny into my Outback doesn't sound much better... LAWL

Some guy at the gas station says "nice car" as he walks by. I say thanks. He then walks back trying to sell me a cleaning product and sprays this stuff on my dirty rims(i like em that way, looks kinda like gunmetal) and cleans off a spot. I'm thinking, "MFer, if youre gonna wipe my rim, do the whole damn thing, and all 4 while youre at it" instead of marking one little spot. He then proceeds to tell me this works on paint too, and while I'm about to say no thanks he sprays some on the side when I just washed/waxed the thing 2 days ago! To make matters worse, the uses the same damn rag he used on my dirty rims and starts wiping away on my paint! I wanted to be polite about it, but ended up tellin him to "get the *** off my car." I'd hate to be the "arrogant type" or whatnot, but this dude really pissed me off!

F*ck that. He came up bull ****ted you with a complement to try and solicit you a ****ty product. Then presides to molest your car. I'd have a hard time re-framing form punching him. So congrats for keeping calmer than I would have.

Picked my grandma up at the airport last week and was driving her to my moms house. I kicked it a little getting on the freeway. Now she refers to my car as the space shuttle.

Gahhh...

Three of my four Volvos had turbos, and all of them except the S60R were marketed as family cars. Why can't a family car have a turbo, exactly?

(My '87 740 Turbo could out-accelerate a V6 Camaro from the same era, with a stock 0-60 mph time of about 8.0 seconds when the Camaro did a 9-10 second run... lol)
