Mayve once a week I'll go WOT to merge onto the freeway at 80 or 90 mph. Its nice to have that option when merging in order to pick and choose where in traffic I'd like to enter in at.

Otherwise, I only go WOT to keep people from being in a lane that ends from bypassing all of us obeying the rules of the road from skipping ahead in the "line". Last time I did that it was a guy in a Cadillac coupe, and he had no idea what a WRX was because as I pulled past him and he was looking at my car, shocked (by his facial expression), and I gave him a one finger salute and we both laughed. I'm glad he had a sense of humor about it!

I rarely got WOT , but I do enjoy merging into traffic wherever I please. Also , I prefer to drive on the thruway using the 2 second rule and I love denying all the "me first " drivers the opportunity to cut in front of me and force me to brake.

The people that do this are actually doing the right thing. It's called a zipper merge...look it up. By not using both lanes you are creating more traffic congestion.

Also, in my state of PA, it's against the law to speed up and prevent someone from overtaking you.

also, I didn't take question of this thread as "how often do you launch your car from a stop and powershift 1-2,2-3,3-4"? I took it as it is stated, how often do you open the throttle 100 percent?

Whenever I need to... On ramp, passing, just to feel the turbo spool up.

Probably a few time a week.

Depends on the day, when someone decides to think their daily commuter car can outrun me I tend to be like "AW HELL NAH" and catch them.

I gotta' admit I'm guilty of that too. It's like a sickness. I try to fight it and be good but when a car blasts past me that has no need to be going that fast I just have to blow it away!
Although, one time I got schooled by a Acura TL SH-AWD. Excuse me,now I feel a need to mod

I do a few 2nd-3rd gear pulls a day, sometimes it seems like I go weeks without getting on it though.
