Default Psychoskip's latest dermis modification (ATTN: skywalker)

WARNING: Myspacesque Psychoskip photo below!

Sorry for the ****ty cell phone pics, my XTi is no longer at my disposal.

I had this done a little over 2 weeks ago now. Found an awesome artist out here in San Diego. This is my 3rd piece, which goes along my chest piece and other arm piece.

I got this for my mother to surprise her on Mother's Day. My Dad gave my mother a gift when they got married in 1977. It was an actual miniature marble replica of Michelangelo's "La Pieta". It cost him mini-fortune, but my mother was infatuated with this Sculpture ever since she was a kid. She's always love the expression on Mary's face, so I found a good B&W artist out here to have it done.

I cant wait to see my Mom's face when she sees it.

I thought you already had a thread on this? Or is this the "finally completed" thread? Either way you really did find a good artist. That is some seriously high quality work there.

WTF is going on with the neck shading/shadow? Why would you overpower a decently overall work with that crap? I've came back to this thread three times now and that is all that jumps out, EVERY time. The gradients are good otherwise. Did he fall asleep?

Tattoos are for retarts. And that one scores a 96% on the homo scale.

All credit to the artist.

It's hard to portray a Chinese girl with Down's Syndrome properly.

And you have teh crazy eyes in pic #1, Psychoskip. Between that and the ink I'm terrified over here.

Flowers would have worked too - but maybe you are too self absorbed for that.

I'm with them. How is this a gift in any way?

It would be one thing if you paid for your mother to get this tattoo...and I'm a fan of tattoo's as gifts, my wife and I got matching ones as wedding presents.

My mom is a huge fan of all my tattoos. This piece is more symbolic than anything. After our house foreclosed, we sold 99% of our valuables. One of the only things my mom kept was the aforementioned marble statue my dad bought her.

It works on a few levels.

And that crazy eye was for you, Squirrelz.

I think an even BETTER Mother's Day gift would've been to tattoo your own face on her arm! I mean, what mother wouldn't love to wake up to that?!

Looks good, Skip. I'm not a fan of tats, but it's good!

How about a tattoo of his arm, with that tattoo on it, on her face?

Now THAT'S a Mother's Day present!
