The DataLogLab is still not freeware. They have a trial period of 30 days. I honestly can not imagine spending $40 for a road dyno only. I have been looking for a while for a free road dyno software with no luck. I did find another logger called ecuedit that looks pretty cool but haven't spent too much time with it.(still not free) From what I've found, you're looking to spend about $50 to get a logger with that function.
Edit: I have not tried airboys spreadsheet yet. |

And if your model wrx is not listed, scroll the spreadsheet sideways and add the parameters for it and you'll be set All you need to do is log a run using RomRaider logger in 3rd or 4th from as low rpm as possible to redline, then open the log file (csv) from inside airboy's spreadsheet, press a couple of buttons and you're done |

i think its ECUEdit, might be ECUFlash (theres so many ECUxx programs!!). make a log graph and you can import it in and theres a dyno sheet.
ill have to double check which program it is, but im pretty sure its Edit. I've only used it a few times and it never looked very good. Its also extremely dependent on your weight. so unless you weighed it and yourself recently, it wont be very valuable. |

but you can use a different logger, like ECUExplorer or Enginuity for free and open the log files in ECUEdit

Ecuedit has nag screens but is almost fully functional in the trial version. For $50 I think it is a no brainer compared to dataloglab which does absolutely nothing else but let you import logs of other loggers (it won't log our cars at all) and create road dynos. Ecuedit has a good logger and really good log analysis tools built in.
I don't understand why anyone pays for dataloglab just for the road dyno when Ecuedit is around. |

I have used airboys dyno sheet with what i deem to be success.
I can show repeatable gains on 95 octane over 91 octane, and 91+meth over 91. When the gains are 20-30hp its easy to tell. However, trying to decipher when you are no longer gaining power by adding boost or leaning the car out is another story. |
