Wont comment on other pricing but what this person said above is in line with the MSRP set by GTWORX.

i expect mine to ship today or tomorrow. I also have whiteline com-c strut tops going on as well. unfortunately i don't think ill make any of the autox events the rest of this year so i can only speak how these are for daily driving.

i skipped all the coilovers at and around this price ($350 springs + $180 top hats + $1200 shocks) because of

1. unknown valving
2. insane spring rates in many cases
3. having to send some of them over the ocean to be rebuilt
4. i would have to buy camber plates for some (stock top hats/whiteline wouldn't work) or upgrade to a higher tier of coilover with crap i don't need like adjustment that might not adjust predictably (crosstalk)
5. whereas many coilovers have hit and miss reviews, these shocks for the last gen are pretty much spotless
6. these are designed for the springs that i already like and have had on the car for 2 years now
Going to follow this and see how you like them. Seems like the RCE guys have put a bunch of work into these!!

Also Pre-ordered a set of these.. I will be installing these along with wheels, BBK, and other suspension mods.. I will give a review once I get some miles on these.. RCE has been really great to deal with.. Thanks dudes.. one of the best customer support peeps I have dealt with for my WRX!! No BS, and give true advice even at the cost of losing a sale for something else they don't carry that might fit your build better! I will post picks once I get my set and get them installed (Nov 22nd most likely)

mine arrived at a secure location on Monday, so today I finally got my hands on them. they will be installed tomorrow, assuming this oily residue is not an issue:

both the rears are greasy. feels/smells like the same stuff that leaked out of my oem shocks after they blew out (don't ask ). I doubt its an issue, probably just something left over from valving.. but the self destructing packaging for the fronts...

the top nut of my right shock was poking out of both boxes. not good. the rears were packaged much tighter but they were all still loose in there. i don't blame GTWORX/RCE for this since these shipped straight from ThyssenKrupp and they are designed to resist thousands of pounds... but

okay I got these installed today, I've only driven from the shop to my apartment. IMO this feels like a Focus RS in sport mode now, from what I remember being a passenger in one last month. on the highway if you hit a bump its up/down and down/up once and its over, where with the yellows on stock suspension I could feel the rear would be a little more bouncy. the car does not dive between shifts nearly as much. you feel everything; all the little tar strips I didn't notice before I can feel in the seat, and certain bumps I used to avoid before don't throw the car around as much. my alignment is -2.2/-1.8 F/R camber with zero toe. my autocross tires are in storage but I want to get them out just to drive around

one more thing: the steering feels much sharper. chris at cobb plano says it feels more like an evo 10. that might also be due to my perrin dampener lockdown and getting about half a degree of caster from the whiteline top hats

Worth noting that every Bilstein I've ever been on has a slight break in period. They soften up a tiny bit after a couple hundred miles.

And no I don't really understand it.

ok guys these feel amazing, the wife hates them but they are not as harsh I expected them to be.. I already put 100 miles on these, as I had to do bedding for my pads.. I also added a Velox motosports LCA (so nice ) Here are some pics..

fronts I already showed.. lol Here is the car as it sits (not sure how much lower it actually gets with the Regular guys springs? here you have it..)

Why the wife hates? Too stiff and rigid? Interested to hear how ride is on highway or freeway.

Have you got to try the brakes hard yet. Interested to hear how balance between front and rear brakes are now with AP on front??

So now 1,100 miles later... wife actually not complaining much at all, as when you hit a harsh bump, the car gets over the impact much quicker. Before it was a crazy up, down, up down, wobble before recovery, now its just a rigid short up down bump with no side wobble. I ran my car on highways and on gravel woods roads, very spirited, and the AP BBK has gotten pushed.. freaking night and day from OEM. No fade to report as of yet, no real noticeable noise from J hook rotors either. I feel no balancing issues with the Brake bias, seems like it was as with oem.. I'm running Hawk HP+ pads on rear and Ferrodo 2500 on fronts for DD and fed. 3000 for Track days. Feels really solid now, I will prob. tweak my sway bar a bit, as it is a bit too stiff atm.. muddy pics coming soon. RCE thanks for all the advice, you guys rock!! Loving my Rex now.

How awesome will theses be on the track? I've been looking at coilovers but I don't like the idea of making adjustments.

How is the dusting of the Ferrodos? Where did you buy the front brakes at?

I don't know about the dust build up, as I did muddy trails for the most part.. you can't see it in the pic but I broke the underside of my front bumber and plastic stuff under there.. pay to play.. brakes performed great, shocks are amazing and tires never rubbed, even after bottoming out on 4x4 trails lol..

I have DS2500s and the dust isn't terrible, though I'm pretty tolerant of a dirty car, though clearly worse than stock.

I usually take them off between track days because they're pretty squeaky when they're cold (though they still stop well)

Default Yellow w/stock vs Yellow w/Gtwork/Bilstein

I think I expected too much.
After 900 miles (600highway, 100 city, 200 mountain road) driven,
I'm not satisfied value of Gtwork/Bilstein Sport Shocks.
Of course, it is improved ride performance and quality than stock in all around.
But I don't think worth it.
I'm still type of ride consciously worry about. I will find myself "bracing for impact" or making excuses to non-car enthusiast passengers.
If you need better performance, you have many choices.
Check more reviews and other products.

Like which other choices. Please tell us . I can think of only 3 and they are all coilovers.

I'm still happy with mine. Either I'm used to them or they have softened up. I don't feel like I have to make excuses though, maybe your passengers are the problem

So $1600 with RCE springs? Seems absurd when you can buy a pretty legit pair of coil-overs for that price offering adjustable ride height and dampening.

Why would you opt for these? Seriously, why?
Aside from pure convenient aspect of simple bolt on and go.
Could these possibly perform better than a $1500-$2000 range set of coil-overs?

You can buy a legit pair of coilovers in that price range. The problem is, you need 4 of them

It's funny that people think coilovers are such a better value than a spring/strut combo. Literally the only difference is a threaded body. Fixed perch with good valving and build quality will outperform crappy coilovers every. single. time.
