Default Exhaust parts needed for '97 Legacy Outback, check my list

I found a '97 LegacyOutback for sale that I might jump on, but it needs exhaust work.

The guy isn't real sure what needs to be done, but he did tell me it needs a catalytic converter, two front gaskets, and a front cross over pipe (his words).

My initial thought is he doesn't fully understand what is needed, so I figure I may just price an upgrade on everything from the muffler forward. Of course, he doesn't know the motor either.

Soooo... I headed over to boxer4racing.com and here's what I think:
- Borla headers (may not be necessary, are these the correct headers though? Did all '97 Legacy Outbacks have dual port?)
- OEM dual catalytic converter pipe (same for all motors of this year?)

Is there anything I might be missing... gaskets, etc.? Any pipe or welding necessary between the converter pipe and the muffler?

I'm looking at the car on tomorrow, so I'm just trying to prepare myself for what might be needed and what to look for and what it might take to replace some or all of the exhaust.
