A very minor question regarding the gold tape on the sump, wouldnt that be counter productive as the sump would be hotter than the air around it? Wouldnt it just be keeping the oil in the sump hotter?

Thank you!
And as for the gold tape, the idea was to put it where the header comes close to the pan, to keep the exhaust from further heating the oil. Honestly, I'm sure it won't do much, I was just really bored and had a couple feet of gold tape left lol

Here's a better picture

A little update. Car is now at Metro Performance of SoCal. The guys there will be finishing the car (fmic piping/surge tank). This is what it looks like now:

Surge tank is mounted, and fitting/hose has arrived. Went with Fragola P.F.T.E. 6000 hose and fittings. Fuel system and fmic piping should be finished by next week! Finally starting to come together.

Intercooler piping is complete, time to finish routing for the surge tank! Very excited to see the final product. Hope to hear this kitty purr this week!

Surge tank has 2 450lph e85 pump that feed separately as -6 and Y into a single -8 that feeds the rails.
More pictures to come later this week!
