Shoulda bought 19s then and lost the lip

Car still looks solid though color combo is mint. Maybe leave lose the lip, go lower, and rock like a 255 or 265 for the next tire to fill out the gap

naw, he legally can't go lower in Australia. It's a huge fine, and if I remember correctly they can impound your car... ?

not even sure xd9s come in 19s???
yeah at this moment im below legal limit already so i would slam it
but not keen on fines
a defect notice over here is instantly 180$ then inspection is $240
and thats no guarantee you pass, im not worried as its new
but i dont have like 400$ just laying around all the time

Well the point was (just throwing out ideas to help) would be to lose the lip so it's not the lowest point and you could move it a hair lower to compensate. Also yeah xd9 don't come in 19 but a set of 19s with the right tire choose will fill the fenders better and raise the car a hair which helps you out

Just ideas to shut the gap and stay legal

Yes, running a taller tire (245/40/18 or 255/40/18) will get rid of a lot of the tire to fender gap while actually providing more ground clearance.

yeah i get your point, but here we also measure from the center of the rim to the guard and atm its below legal already so yeah removing lips would lower the car, but it would further make it more illegal

That sucks. Why are they so strict on height regulations?

Again I'd rather try to understand why you guys enjoy your car this low with out air bags and how you can DD them that low.

I'd say about 90% of people who post pics of fender on lip, are on bags. If you don't get why people drive that low, it's almost impossible to explain. Either you are, or aren't, about dat life
