Default how to upgrade 04 sti to 8000K

I have a 04 sti with the stock hid of course. I want to upgrade to a 8000k. How do I do this.. please help wanting to order parts tonight.

you don't do this. by doing this you are producing less light. so you are just hurting yourself.
stick with the stock colors.
but, if you want to be "that guy" on the road, just order D2R bulbs.

Anything over 5-5.5k dimishes light output and just increases color.

Depending on the brand you get, stay with 4000, 4300 or 5000K max

8000k is a downgrade in performance.

However if you want an HID kit, PM me.

Default bulbs

I dont care about performance, I mean my brights light up about a mile but anyway if I just got D2R 800k bulbs I wouldnt have to upgrade ballast?

How about those 3000k ones I've seen then? (They're yellow looking)

Will those provide decent light output?
