I went with stiffer mounts and noticed little noise change. My biggest benefit has to be engine braking. If I did a 3rd-gear highway pass, for instance, and then let back off at 80-90mph...Wham! The engine would make a horrible thump and bang -- now when I let off, it's a nice, smooth ride down to speed again.

Thanks. I think I'm pretty good shape for this stuff. Most things have gotten replaced sometime along the way.

No. The stock clutch was fine with the 20G XTR at 23psi (a little over 400WHP). After I swapped the motor and turned up the boost the clutch started slipping almost immediately. I tried swapping in the ACT full face disk and it still slipped. Then I tried adding the ACT HD pressure plate. Still slipped. After that came the ACT flywheel. No better. Eventually I swapped the full face disk for a 4 puck sprung disk and it has held perfectly since then. But it's not very good for daily driving. I wouldn't recommend it unless you absolutely need to.

I'm guessing when people ask you Why you have 460 HP on your car, you smile and say "Because Race Car!"

I wonder what time your WRX can clock on a 1/4m.

its probably realistically a low to mid 11 second car that traps somewhere between 120 and 130 on street tires...better with stickier tires

No I don't say that because that's one of the most ridiculously stupid sayings in existence. As shown by crap like this:

Realistically that's probably about right. I would hope that it would trap around 125mph. With an excellent driver and good tires I think 11 flat is possible. With me driving, mid-11's is probably close.

I'm sorry, Ben, but I subscribed to that maus thread. I laughed. It reminds me of "Texts from Bennett" which I haven't read in a while.

I was amazed to see how much your engine shuddered. I thought rod pitch stoppers helped with those tremendously? I haven't been following your thread recently, I apologize. I did see that you're looking into motor mounts, which I applaud, sir.

A couple of times on the street. My LC is at 4,200 and I can get it to bog or to wheel spin all the way through second, depending on how I let the clutch out. I really am not very good at it. FFS is much easier to learn, lol.

He's joking, but he's definitely trying way too hard.

Texts from Bennett were also fake, and also stupid.

In the video I did not have any aftermarket mounts installed. The motor mounts, pitch stop and tranny mounts should be in soon. I believe they'll make a pretty big difference.

Picked up a new toy ("tool") tonight. Bought it for weddings, but I'm sure it will become my primary body for taking car photos too

Well, the pop up flash won't pop up and the hot shoe is broken. So basically it has no flash capability unless it is repaired. So I'm not really sure how much it would go for.

I don't think I have ever used my flash on my camera to take a serious photo. I tried it the first day I got the camera, that's about it.

I'd love to take a nice picture of my car... But there's no where pretty in my area lmao. Also, the Wrx is dirty... needs a wash and vacuum. And lets not forget that my Ipod camera sucks.
