On a side note, my AccessPort just arrived! Reading through the documentation and installing the software now. Then to download the tune and put it on my car. Downpipe should get here later today so I won't be stage 1 for long haha.

Making the drive an event on FB. RSVP if you are going. Also, we should nail down a time for the F&F meet!

Ya. I'm home all this week! Pretty much anytime is good for me. Is Justin in town this week?
As for the drive, who wants to let me ride along? |

So I found 2 possible blocks and am kind of torn, the first is an ej22t which could be fun as a 2.35 stroker. The second is another 257 and would be stay mostly stock untill I have the money for a long rod setup.(this is the one I am leaning toward) anyone have any comments or ideas either way?

Ej22 is closed deck right? I'd go with the 257 so u don't run into overheating issues. Heard some people having that problem... You could always destroke the 257...

I'm keeping mine 79 stroke. Couldn't decide for the longest time if I wanted to destroke it or give it a longer stroke. Decided to leave it the way it is though. Going with 100mm pistons. I'm not really worried about making it high rev. But I figure with the head work I'm doing. 7500 should be reasonable enough. I'm just excited at all the extra torque I'm gonna have!

1/4 of the way through installing my new DP. Heat Shield was like "F U IM NOT COMING OFF EASY!" Then I got to the bolts connecting the DP to the turbo and it is currently like "WHAT THE HEAT SHIELD SAID YO!"
3/5 Out. Sprayed some WD40 on the other 2 and I'm letting them sit for a minute. |

As far as the O2? it should come out. Should take a 22mm to get it out of the pipe, and as far as the electrical, there should be a connection about 1ft up-wire. I doubt its much diff on an 07 than any other 93-07 WRX/STi type setup, since the exhausts are all virtually identical. |

On the DP I have everything hooked up except for the one stud that came out. I'll be picking up a new stud and bolt for that spot. I'm going to order a new Heat Shield too. DP installed, tuned for Stage 2 93 Octane. Driving conservatively for now, but that didn't keep me from doing one 2nd gear 2k to 6k pull. If you need a new stud cal ranch has them, I believe they are even 10.9 grade but I can't remember for sure(and they cost about 1/10 of what they are from subaru).

Really? When did they do that? I was there this evening but didn't fill up. I'm headed up there tomorrow morning to fill up though. I don't really know anywhere else with 93. The Stinker on Yellowstone?
