I took my car to P & L and had them tune it. After a pre-dyno pressure test and new plugs they started to tune it. Around 16 psi it started to pull timing and the egt was really high. In addition the TMIC was very hot to the touch. The car was putting down around 245 whp and then it would pull timing. This is 40-50 hp less than what "it should be".

As we were discussing the issue while standing in front of my car with it running Jorge noticed a weird click sound that happened every so often. He asked if I heard it and I did, so we listened for a minute or so longer and it continued to happen at random. He brought a few other guys over to see if they might know what it was but when they got over there it stopped doing it. I don't know if it was anything, but it was really weird. They said if it were rod knock that it would be idling funny and it wasn't.

Jorge and the crew recommended that I take it home and do three things:
1. Check compression --- 135 on 3 and 130 on 1...so that is okay right?
2. Check the timing belt --- it was fine.
3. Pull the turbo off and look for damage --- took turbo off and sent to P & L They said everything looked good.

What could be causing these issues?

Stock Manifold?
Bad gas?
maybe stock wg?
Engine damage?

I am frustrated, confused, and ticked. What should I do? Should I go back to stock turbo and injectors?
