Since Subispeed fitted a 2018 lip on the 2015-2017 bumper, has anybody else tried 2015-2017 lip on the 2018?

I'm going to go with they are heavier since tires are heavier in those oem Yokohama's. I've read Subaru's reasoning for the 19's but I'm not buying into the "it provides superior grip and greater steering precision while preserving ride comfort." Really? Please show me how 19's ever played out in the Subaru Motorsports world. IMO I'm not going to run those 19s ever.

The seats look exactly the same shape as before. Are we just paying to have the words Recaro now?

The headrest is a different shape and the side bolsters are completely different.
Sit in them, try them out, see if they make enough of a difference to you, to make it worth it. TBH, the main reason I checked that off was the keyless entry, the recaros will be a slightly better fit, but I'm not expecting much other then a little better side bolstering. |

I didn't think I would use it that much, but lately I have been using it a ton and have grown to really like having it.

Love the white and I really prefer the darker housing headlights of the STI, sadly on the WRX's all I can focus on is that chrome housing and it messes with the front end proportions.

The Yokos tire 24.3 according to Yokohamas site (https://www.yokohamatire.com/tires/advan-sport-v105) So the new rubber may actually weigh less, the wheels being forged vs cast may be able to wipe out the weight penalty for the larger wheel. But we really won't know until someone weighs them. |

Picked up my new WRX yesterday. It is a base model with STI short shifter and STI shift knob. Haven't had a WRX since I got rid of my '02 wrb bugeye over ten years ago. It's nice to finally have another WRX.

first thing i'd do with one of these is paint the center section of the bottom of the bumper.
love these 2k18's, but that red interior trim has got to go... yellow brakes, blue (or any other color than red) car, red/black seats trim and seat belts.. |

Looks good! My 2018 got me back in a WRX after 7 years. It's a great feeling!

I am in love with the CWP. I was between this and silver, and I'm real glad the direction I chose. Plans are to do tint, gloss black roof and the STI front lip. Already have a Cobb intake but don't want to worry about warranty issues so that's going to wait. |

Is the stock C-light in these any brighter than the 15-17?

The C-light shape also looks more sharp and angular compared to 15-17s as well

2018 WRX - CWP/Premium/6MT
This is my first Subaru, and I love it so far! Though, coming from a 750 has been a rough transition in the comfort department, haha. I am loving the CWP contrast with the black, and like it was mentioned above, I wish mine had the limited headlights for the black.
Hoping to get a front lip, and side spoilers, and maybe one day buy the limited head lights. Really needs a tint as well. And I really like the 18" wheel design over the 17MY premium wheels! One of the best OEM wheels I have ever seen. |

I'll post some pics of my ISM STI Limited without the wing tomorrow when I get it back from the tint/clear bra/ceramic coating appointment. I'm with you guys on the 19" wheels. They're a little big for my liking. When I get a new set of tires I will probably switch wheels. I do like the calipers though they have grown on me. This car is awesome!

Absolutely loving this car so far... Upgraded from a 2011 WRX that needed some work on it.
Yes it may look a bit like an Evo or a Mazda in the front, but to me it just looks like a more mature version of itself. Honestly, no car just looks like itself anymore. The dashboard finally isn't a chunk of cheap plastic, so that's a solid plus... Some of the body lines get lost in the dark colors, but that's normal. The handling and power delivery are much better than my 2011, the seats are far superior, the interior has more space, it gets better gas mileage... It's an all-around upgrade. When it's all said and done, it's a typical new Subaru... We'll find things wrong with it and disagree on it, but ultimately learn to love it. Now it just needs some mods.... ^ Can you post some night pictures of the DRL lights? I'm still debating whether to get those DRL's or the S4 WRX/STI DRL's with the fogs.
The Subie's are looking good. |

Anybody stepped up from a 15-17 to an '18? Curious to know if the new sound deadening made a significant difference...

2018 CWP Limited WRX w/ Harman Kardon and Homelink mirror, picked up on 7/7/17. I am freakin' in love so far...very overwhelming, especially coming from an '04 Stage 2 WRX. The car, the color, the interior, the new front-end are all beautiful. And to all those who complain about the starlink/nav/audio system and the HK audio - you're nuts! It all works really well in my opinion. And sound quality is pretty decent, honestly.
