Ok, it seems these are not available if the OP is not responding to posts, PM's or fulfilling his eBay orders.

Is anyone here willing to pull their harness and use a DVM to make a pin-out print so I can go make my own cable?

I only need the pinout of the 4 wires from T to Camera connection

Now, I'm confused because I am looking at the USDM Factory Service Manual in the wiring section and they show that both EJ and FA front car harnesses have a plug (F166) that is shown to be for front camera. The harness runs along the front of the core support at bumper level, center of the car. On the same branch, there is:

F47 - Horn
F78 - Ambient Sensor
F166 - Front Camera

I'm going to pull the front bumper and see if I can find this unused plug on my car. The OP posts are pretty convincing that we don't have this, but factory USDM manuals suggest otherwise...

Any luck on this? Im hoping to just buy the camera if the wires are already included.

Congrats on the trade up! The M2 Comps are killer, i'm not a huge BMW fan but I would consider one if I was ready to move on if nothing else due to the manual being available.

Yeah, I'm looking in the manual and see the same thing. If you also look over to F43, I'm 99% sure that where I plugged the breakout harness to. I don't remember seeing an empty plug where F166 is supposed to be.

Final update:

I submitted the dispute/refund request through eBay and the OP ignored it. They ruled in my favor yesterday and I got a full refund to my PP account. I almost feel bad about it in case something happened to the OP...but I did send him multiple messages requesting a status update and he generated a shipping label later. Obviously he had access to his eBay account and simply didn't answer my messages. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt and throw this in the '**** happens' category, so I have no plans to give him negative feedback since I'm out nothing at all. I hope others have better luck.

As mentioned above, I have a brand new camera that I'll be listing for sale. I have a few other items for my now-sold STi that I'll be listing as well so I'll share the link once I get a chance to post everything. And I guarantee I will answer your messages and follow through with shipping the item to the buyer.

Thanks! I'm not a BMW fan either but on paper the car seemed to tick all the boxes and I ordered it without even seeing one in person. I wasn't sure I liked it all that much when it arrived and almost put it up for sale immediately. Once I got over the douche bag factor of driving a BMW I started to enjoy it. But in all honestly, there are plenty of things I liked more about my STi and I'm not sure the M2C is worth the price.

I don't know if anyone figured this out yet, but I have. I created a harness that spliced into the existing female B171 (13 pin connector) underneath the battery and above the washer fluid tank (Although, you can easily make a pass-through for the other pins like the T-harness OP has made). For me, pins 2,3,8, and 9 on the female B171 connector were for the camera and the colors of those wires for those pins were Black, White/Black, Red, and White. The camera I got off SubaruSource had pins 2,3,6, and 7 with the wire colors of Green, Black, Red, and White. If you look REALLY closely at the back of the connectors, they are numbered on the edges.

From B171 to the camera, the color wires that matched up together were:
Black -> Green
White/Black -> Black
Red -> Red
White -> White

Disclaimer: Your color wires might not be the same as mine.

Thank you Vangoespow! Has anyone thought about buying an aftermarket front facing camera and wiring it in? From above, red should be switched power, black should be ground and then I'd have to guess at green being video out and white is shield for video?

Great work, vangoespow. If anyone wants to do this mod and use a new OEM camera, mine is posted for sale now. I'm asking $150. And a shameless plug for all the stuff I'm selling...someone is going to get a good deal if they buy everything in my listing!

Update: Camera is sold. Thanks to free_refil for the quick payment.

Isn't that the dude everyone has said stopped responding and won't send them the harness they ordered?

If you try and add one to your cart on 12voltmods' website, the cart isn't active.

For anyone still looking for a front camera harness - I found a guy making and selling them on facebook. I ordered one and received it today, it's nicely made and it works great. He said he's on here, user name free_refil, shoot him a PM and he can hook you up.

He is on the last page of this thread, offering harnesses for sale. I sent him a PM and tried to buy one. He wanted me to pay a deposit and wait. After the headaches others in this thread have had, I did not want to do that. I told him to PM me when he had a harness for sale. I never heard back from him.

Let me please apologize man. I'm not quite active here on Nasioc. It slipped my mind. I have 4 available now and can have you one out tomorrow if you'd like. Just respond to my PM.

And for any others, yes, I have a few more available, and will be making more.
Feel free to PM me, as I now have removed NASIOC from my spam filter on my email, so I'll know when someone PM's me here.

I have also built and sold over 75 MFD adapter harness all over the globe to allow these MFD's to be installed into 15-17's. I just didn't want to piggy back off of Andrews post in this manner.

I'm also trying my best to offer 18+ LED SRH headlight adapter harnesses for those who have upgraded to the 18+ bumpers and want to add the matching headlamps, similar to Shining Speed's. I have found the correct connectors to attach to the 18+ LED SRH headlamps, but cannot as of yet find a source for the 15-17' 12-pin female plug, other than buying damaged headlamps with good connectors on them still from wrecked vehicles.

Oh, and if you'd like to take a look at any of my prior wiring harness work, check out my IG: https://www.instagram.com/free_refil/

To avoid striking the bumper-cover and/or lip into a curb when parking.

Ahh i see. Was confused because i read that the camera was right under the front grill badge so i would think it would need to be lower than that to serve it's purpose.

It provides a similar optical view as that of the rear camera so that you'll mostly see forward and downward.

Has anyone found a better deal (or alternative to OEM) for the front camera?

The OP said the best price for the camera was at subarusource.com. I haven't found a better price than that but I'm hoping I'm just not looking in the right places. FYI, the part number listed is: 86357VA010
