Default Speed Channel is pretty cool: WRC

Unfortunately Subaru came in 7th and 8th place. But man, those guys have the car all figured out with the turns. All the cars sound insane. Looks like they change gears from their steering wheel. And it looks like there's nothing in their dash except a big number that I think that tells them what gear they are in.

Ford is in the lead of the five manufacturers. Unfortunately, again, Subaru is in 5th and last.

Man, that Focus is crazy. Actually, they all are. The Citroens, Mitsubishis and the Renaults too.

fixed for you.

and just for reference and argument material, it's barely the beginning of the season. still plenty of time for Subaru to come out on top.

Yessir! They said they didn't need the extra gears because the new motor is so nice and provides plenty of power. So less time spent shifting or whatever.

The new 307 is nice but it does need a 5th gear. But the 4 gears are nice and it's less time to go up and down through the gears. I just watched it again and on the straight away it bouncing off the rev limiter so maybe a 5th gear would help.. Did anyone else remember that. I think it was Marcus Gronholm-not sure. I think he lost time too. I was an awesome start to the 2004 year! I just wish Richard Burns was there and driving for Subaru again!

The 307 looked great! especially with the rear l.e.d.'s Mistsu is back in action and their car looks good, well...with the exception of the of centered rear spoiler. I guess wind tunnels dont lie? Is this the new trend? I really think it's a bit awkward, looks like Mickey(mouse) had a hand on installing it. Fords very strong. To bad their decision makers won't produce an awd focus with 300+HP. Athough they are introducing the focus with a ford mustang crate engine rwd. Producing something like 400+ hp! I read its a 40k + car after all the conversion is done. I wonder if ford warranties it? Anyhow, I don't worry about the Subaru team. They hardly do well at the "Monte" but there's alot of racing to be done. Watch out for Markko Martin...he's a killer
