2 counts, right?

Default yeah so I guess you could say I'm pretty stoked...

she's no scooby but....
a little while back I posted a thread about a '66 Chevelle I bought with a 350 c.i.d. in it. Well just now on coffee break I went back to the machine shop I had rebuild the engine and they gave me a killer engine for crazy cheap. Oh, btw- they do Subaru engine as well. Anyway, this is what the guy said he did to my engine:
*put in a competition cam
*new valve springs & lifters
*rolling rockers
*high volume oil pump
*line bored 30 over (.030)
*flat top pistons
*competition timing gears & chain
**that's all he could remember at that point, but the car was pretty solid to start with. I can't wait until she's back on the street

I still have to repaint her and get a set of Crager Mags (chrome aka bling for the ghetto folk)

The paint pics will be awhile from now, and right now I'm kinda tapped out on funds for ghost flames.. (I forgot to post pics in the 1st place, I went down to South Carolina for a week- maybe I'll get back on track now)

They don't do the swaps (as far as I know) they just work on engines out of the car and maybe transmissions.

Edvig- it doesn't have a good paint job right now so I'm feeling shy about her, kinda like an ugly gf who's really good in the sack
Yellow Knight- you and Edvig know where I'm living, you can see the beast and the vette anytime The engine and tranny are back in, i'm putting all the misc. parts back in now..I'm thinking a blower in the future, maybe I'm getting ahead of myself...

i got a pic of a similiar car with a similiar paint job that was at the Marcus Dairy Classic Car Meet. The ***** almost made me cry...all that power and beauty. They had a portable Dyno there too with fully-blown cars going on it. When they'd start up, the pavement would literally rumble. 2 things do the turn ons, perfume and gasoline
