Okay, that would be good to use on my HKS exhaust....but what would be good to get the nastiness off my Stock Legacy GT CBE? It isn't the same finish as the HKS.

Firstly, what do you actually mean by 'clean?' Be more specific.

If you want to remove oxidation and general marks on the the exhaust, then you need a polish with more cut.

If you just wanna polish it up and get it looking all bling bling, then the Meguiars NXT All Metal Polysh is great.

Read here and a detailing 'how to' is here.

I mean, my stock exhaust is nasty, brownish, rusty looking...I need to knock off all of that crap with something first, then polish it.

My aftermarket HKS, just needs polished....

I am thinking the stock exhaust needs a lot more work to get the brownish/rust look off of it. What do I need to get that off?

That stuff is gold for cleaning up pots and pans (offtopics maybe, but if you haven't tried it, you don't know what you're missing). I think I may give it a shot next time I'm cleaning my exhaust.

Big fan of the NEV-R-DULL, works great and keeps the shine for quite a while.

That works too, just make sure it's #0000 steel wool and you'll be all set.
