Sonus Perfect Shine or Ultima Complete Paint Care.
Hey all,
For the past year and a half I've worked at a Subaru/Dodge dealership detailing cars and also with other independent detailers. I've learned quite a lot about the profession in that time. I always had all the products and tools at my disposal when cleaning my car. However, I have to leave my job to go off to college soon. So I wanted to start building a better supply of products then the pep boys/walmart stuff I own. A Porter Cable is already on the list. I was looking into buying the Sonus Perfect Shine kit recently, until I stumbled upon the new Ultima line. The Sonus seems to be the more traditional kit with clay, sealant, compound, wax, etc. While the Ultima is new and high tech. I was wondering if any of you had any experience with either products, or any additional products/kits that you would recommend. Any help would really be appreciated. -Chris http://www.autopia-carcare.com/son-pershine-kit.html http://www.autopia-carcare.com/ult-1000.html

Heard nothing but good things about the Paint Guard Plus. Once I get through my FMJ I plan on trying it out.

Ultima is nice stuff, but over priced. Look into the Optimum/Duragloss lines.

you will be better off I believe with the optimum line.
BTW we have PC kits on our site. These products I believe will be in a different class then Sonus and Ultima Click here PC starter kits at Detailer's Domain |

well figure that Menzerna is used at the factories of
BMW , Mercedes, Toyota, GM etc. I would say that would mean something, I love Menzerna and have used it for years. but hey its whatever works, I just think that Menzerna finishes off very very well. |

i was actually thinking of getting this kit as well, i'm new at this. could you elaborate on the differences between the flex and pc? would it be worth the extra dime for the flex?
