Default cleaning all-season/winter rubber mats

guys, what should I use on my rubber mats to get them really clean and keep them shiny when I am done. I know I could use a degreaser and armor-all but wasn't sure if other products are better. Any input or process is appreciated.

I would be careful using something like armor-all, especially for the drivers side as it can make the mat slipperly and thus dangerous.

All I used was some diluted Dawn and a tooth brush...worked nicely...I have Husky rubber mats in the front of the Baja.

i just use the leftover soap/water after washing the car, with the wheel brush.

does the job nicely.

As bad as it sounds use diluted wheel acid(don't let dry) just scrub and rinse in a timely manner

I just blast mine with the hose . . . . . works great. Doesn't get them shiny, but why the hell would you want shiny floor mats? Shiny = slippery = bad.

I wash mine with a pressure washer. If there is more gunk, I would spray some diluted simple green and then pressure wash it. Cleans all dirt and sand off my mats.

I have Husky Liners in the front and some rubber Michelin mats in the back of my wagon. I usually spray Simple Green all over them and brush them. Then I just hose them off. That cleans them really well. Like others have said, shiny floormats are dangerous floormats.

A brush like this and soap and water. Nothing more. I'd avoid using a dressing on it, but admittedly, I do it. Just don't use armorall since it leaves more of a residue then some others.
