Default Here's an odd question.

So I have a buddy who is doing a full restore of a 77 jeep cj5
It has a fiberglass tub. He rhinolined the entire tub, then painted the exterior of it.

He was asking me how to apply some wax onto the painted part, to help keep the paint looking decent. I couldn't think of any pads or anything that wouldn't get ripped apart by the rhino lining.

Anybody have any suggestions?

I wouldnt really wax the Rhino lining, I would suggest armorall protectant spray or a tire shine. when I had my Truck thats what I used to keep the black plastic on the bumpers looking clean. only a suggestion..

wait, he painted over the rhinolining? if thats the case, power washer and see if the local autopart store has some spray on wax. I had some a while ago, Its about a half gallon size jug that attaches to the hose, spray wax on and rinse off then your done.

ooooh yeah, never thought of that. Yeah, he rhinolined the entire tub, but wanted a different color on the exterior, so he painted the outside forest green. It actually looks badass.
