Default Zerosports Tuned Z4 ECU?

I have the oppertunity to pick this ECU up. Does anyone know anything about Zerosports tuning? I have a 93 WRX with a TD05 and 440 injectors. It should be plug and play I was just worried it may be tuned for bigger injectors or turbo.

We have 94 here in Canada and water/meth would that work? Do you know what kind of boost I would see? Possible power numbers?

Didn't the Z4 come out of an STi-RA?

I've looked at a zerosports map. it had a very aggressive igntion map. I would be too nervous to run it on 94.

And yes, you never know if it was tuned for a completely different setup.

Ya I am not sure. It is coming from a JDM used parts supplier thats says it is for a stock setup i just wasn't sure if the EJ20G from the STi had a different size turbo and injectors. What kind of octane is availible in Japan? Would water/meth allow me to run this ecu?

TD05 and greytops on the V2 STi-RA.

Don't think its safe to run it on 94Mon if it's got a different map on it.

But then, I've got an ECU out of a '92 Legacy RS with a tuned with a Link chip in it and I'm planning on running it when I get my EGT sensor put in my '90 GT.

get either a U8, a Z4, or a SC ecu, the Z4 and the SC are exactly the same thing but the sc is rated 1psi higher

No, the SC and the Z4 are identical even in max boost.

rob I sent you an Email today. How much boost can I run with a Z4, 94 octane, FMIC, 440cc injectors, and TD05? Possibly adding water/meth as well.

i was running this same setup in my wagon. i ran 14.8 PSI for almost 30K

im pretty sure the injectors were maxed and were going wide open under boost. but never went lean.

fuel cut at 15psi

Nice well I think I'll let the tuned Z4 go and find something a little more octane friendly lol. I really want to run some 550s for a little safety margin and a little more power. Is there a way to run these without a standalone?

So I talked to Zerosport and the word is the ECU would be tuned for 100 octane would meth and 94 do it? If someone wants this ECU I will steer them in its direction I will be going with something a bit less agressive for now.
