With the adapter harness everything is plug and play with the exception of needing to wire in a IAT sensor and the wideband. I'm wiring in extra pressure, temp, and speed sensors but they are not needed to run out of the box.

Thanks for the message, Have you heard when your turbo is going to be in? Who did you order it from?

Turbo kit and FMIC are from Full Race and the only thing yet to ship is the turbo. The turbo could show up any day now or I could be waiting for months still, who knows. I did get started on mounting the FMIC today though. I'll put up some pics tonight.

i would recommend you to get forge dual port with a mod and 30 psi spring, or wait for perrin to release theirs! OEM high canister is not good enough for our cars

You can get the high boost duel port from full race for like $43
Hotside piping looks like it swings way out and wouldn't let the bumper fit, I would have had it hug it a bit more. Look forward to your results, should be good to see. |

Its the Full Race kit, they use Garrett cores with custom endtanks IIRC
Yeah the hot side looks kind of funny because its not hooked up completely. Since I don't have the turbo yet I can test fit all the hotside piping so its just resting in the wheel well. |

I've been busy as hell with work and travel but I'm still making progress little by little.
I got the fuel system finalized and ran like I wanted and I added a Marren Injection fuel pressure damper to the mix. There has been a big debate as to whether or not a damper is needed but I decided to err on the side of caution. When I get everyting up and running I'll have the ability to log fuel pressure with and without the damper in the system to see if we get any noticable change in fuel pressure. Here is the final version fuel setup. I also fired up Link for the first time and started testing I/O. Got the scaling setup or the MAP, the temp sensors, and both pressure transducers. The fuel system is primed, flushed, and pressurized with no leaks. In all reality the car could be up and running within a few days of recieving my turbo. The only real work left to do is to wire in the Wideband and the non-AVCS cam position sensor and fill with fluid. The problem... I'm trying to find the right plug to connect the 3-wire STI cam positon sensor to a 2-wire cam postion sensor. What I need is a plug that mates to this If anybody has a line of that type of connector please hook a brother up. |

^^^^
That's not the injector clip its a 3-way plug for the AVCS cam position sensor. Are you saying a sidefeed injector plug will mate to that? I thought the injector plugs where 2-way plugs. |

The Full Race manifold didn't fit to well with the thicker Koyo radiator. The passenger side radiator fan was in direct contact with the header. FR does supply one slim line fan to allow for the FMIC piping to fit but now I needed two. I went with the Mishimoto radiator fan shroud with slimline fans. The look pretty clean I just hope they cool well too.
The wideband still needs to be wired up but besides that all I can do is wait for turbo. This car needs more turbo. |
