Subaru has always actively marketed to the G&L Community.

They're just more "out of the closet" about it now, so to speak.

Not that I am against the lifestyle. But
"I like your car"
"What size uppipe are you running?"
"Can I get a closer look at your exhaust"
could have a WHOLE different meaning now

I must be the 1 out of 10.

I drive a WRX and am female

And DEFINITELY not a dyke (although I have no problem with a person's preferences).

Wink

hitman - hotness is in the eye of the beholder

I'm a computer geek, so see myself as a geek not a 'hottie'.

Bad picture quality (bad picture - I HATE being in photos).

Never put your pic up on NASIOC if you are female! You know we are full of 95% testoserone ridden sperm bags around here. Not a bad pic btw.

Thanks for the advice, kevin.

I have met some very nice 'gentlemen' in these and other Subaru forums. I don't usually put my pic up, cuz I don't like the way I look. Typical female

Give your fellow men a little credit. Most of the comments are for show. Once you start to know someone, the pic and gender don't really matter. I was always grandpa's and daddy's little girl and most of my friends are male - probably explains my preference in hobbies. Most people assume I am male unless I state otherwise.

How many women are in trouble with their husbands because they spend too much time overclocking and tweaking their computers, playing pool at the local pool hall, seeing how fast they can go from 0 to 60, and building Subaru modification wish lists? I usually find men in trouble for the same things and totally sympathize with them. Harmless fun and hours of enjoyment for little $$
