I think it's more hideouser than a Tribeca. Along with the 02+ Dodge Rams, and almost every GM product since 2003. I saw an 07 Tahoe last week- I guess the new style with the homies is 30s on an SUV that looks like a minivan?

I think the new Tahoes are great looking...and I like the Murano better than the Tribecca, and it for sure has more power!

my problems were with the sentra se-r spec v. ecu replaced 3 times, 2 exhausts systems, 3-4 pre cats, oil consumption, replaced floormats, butterfly valve screws replaced, 2 coil packs went bad, 5 tps sensors, and a n engine speed sensor in 1.5 years of owning it. friend's nissan titan had the sirius radio tuner die 2 times and different electrical problems, another friends 3.5se maxima had oil consumption, crank positioning sensor, and 2 struts died within a year. also nissan had to stop making all 2.5l engine because of all the problems wich was the engine in the spec v. i just am kinda weary about them now.

sorry about the that upnygimp! anyways the only 1 that has anything to do with the murano is the 3.5se maxima since it has the same engine as it. but just my experiences with nissan.

But it can't go on teh dirt? So why bother...? Why not just get a more efficient and capable wagon?

I had a 2004 SE and it was a pretty nice truck. Very comfortable to drive around the city and it was great for long road trips too. I'm a big guy (6', 6.5") and it was the only vehicle I ever owned that people could actually sit behind me without me moving the seat up.

I really liked the CVT transmission, it was very smooth. With the 2004+ SE model you were able to "shift" and hold a gear if you wanted. It was nice for bumper to bumper traffic. You could leave it in 1st gear and it would compression brake like a manual vehicle would.

I put 25,000km on mine with out any problems. I work with the guy who bought it off me and he has not had any problems with it either. My father has a 2004 SL and he has not had any issues with it in the 80,000km he has driven so far either.

Check out http://www.nissanmurano.org there is some pretty good info on there.

The interior in those is tiny. For an SUV, it's not all that practical.

My sister in law just got one. I don't care for the looks but it's a pretty nice ride.

I just bought an 06 Murano and love it. It is a very smooth ride and the CVT transmission has gotten many compliments. I love the intelligent key feature although I didn't really want it but I was getting a pretty good deal. Now when I drive anything else I think "how ghetto, I have to use a key" This is my 3rd Nissan and I have never had any rattles or anything strange. I always get compliments on the interior and I have hauled a good amount of stuff. I traded in my 05 pathfinder for it and besides the space that I lost it is great. Any questions don't hesitate to ask.

cuz I don't go in the dirt? I live in Atlanta, and at most I'd need just a little more ground clearance than my car has to go out to where I hunt....but I don't need 4WD...
