Question BH5 side skirts on BG/BK?

Does anyone know if JDM BH5 side skirts will fit on a BG/BK?

I doubt it...we'd need measurements though.

http://www.sl-i.net/FORUM/viewtopic.php?t=7705 This user has BE/BH side skirts on his BK. I know he had to do some trimming. I hope that is some help.

You have to cut the BH sideskirts and plastic weld them together after shortening them.
The BH has a longer section between the wheels than the BD/BK/BG.

Thanks, that's helpful. I'll use the welding option as a fall back. However, I'd prefer not to weld if I can find another way.

According to the service manual dimension diagram BD side skirts should fit just fine - but I have been having trouble finding any. I know you can get some fancy ones from Japan Parts, but they are very expensive. Anyone got any ideas where I could find some reasonably priced JDM or GT skirts, or similar?

BD sideskirts = BG/BK sideskirts.

www.ebay.com usually has a few sets floating around.
www.subarupartsforyou.com could order a set of OEM GT ones.

Okay, thanks for the info Huffer.

So they are $239 each at www.subarupartsforyou.com. That's quite a bit more than I would prefer to pay. It's nice to know they are out there though.

I just haven't had any luck on eBay. I have been looking but found nothing. I will have to remain patient, I guess.

That's what I'm talking about. I'm jealous. Good mod for a good price.
