^^^^ I was waiting for that. All the ShamWow's do is scratch the paint, same with cotton towels
you can "flood" your car. By slowley pooring water car, going top to bottom, you creata a pool of water that collects the small beeds then flows off the car. If you do this correctly there should be almost no water on the car when you dry. Then i use a Waffle drying towel |

I use Belgian waffles, not quite as effective as the towels, but the ones left over are delicious.

+1 for the California Blade.
Then a leaf blower to get water out of the mirrors and bumpers. Then hit it with microfiber towels. |

As a detailer, I used the California water blade to whisk the water off the car. This being off freshly painted cars, even black, without leaving so much as a tiny swirl. Hell the chamois scratched more than the water blade did. Its how you use it. If the surface is dry and you drag it across it? Yeah it's going to scratch, but if there is water, it should not unless it needs to be replaced. |

Surprised more people hasn't switched to using ONR yet. I use waffleweave MF nonetheless.

I don't like using the microfibers. It takes off all the 30+ stickers and magnets off my car when I dry it. So I stick with the water blade because they glide over my stickers and magnets... on my P.O.S. Sentra.
+1 for water blade on the Scooby for large smooth area and waxing every time. |

^^^ if you dont like micofiber then you must like scratches. Waffle micorfiber drying towel is the only way to get water off your car, after pooling/flooding.

Not if you have a thick coat of wax and carfully swipe the silicone blade. I would not advise th blade if the water is not beading on the paint.
