Default Saturday, October 25th

Saturday:

9am. Meet at Mansfield Dam Park.

Do not go into the park, when you turn on the road stay to your right and park there where you are overlooking the dam. If you go into the park you'll have to pay money.

To get there from Highland Mall:

35 S (depends if your actually at the Mall, check map 1)
Right on 2222
Left on 620
Right on Mansfield Park Drive

and finnaly our destination.

This will also be where the picture is taken.

NOTE: If you are WAY early and have WAY to much time to kill, try out park drive on here, just be very careful. 1) sometimes theres other cars, and 2) if you screw up you fall 200 feet to your death off a cliff into the water.

We are leaving for the drive. I have at this point given you an hour to straggle in. We leave at 10, no exceptions. I will give everyone my cell phone number at the meet, if you get lost you can call.

Noon:

The drive will end up ending back at the damn at noon, which is when we will take our picture.

12:30 Lunch

3pm We meed at McNeil Park in Round Rock for pre rally instructions.

************************************************** **
Highly Reccomended you bring a clipboard or somethign else hard to write on, along with a pen.
************************************************** **

To get to the park just take 35N. You will pass Dell and 79. Take the exit for 1431/Chandler Road. As soon as you get on the frontage road get to the right lane, it comes up pretty quick. If you hit 1431 you have gone to far.

6:30-7pm You guys should be ending the rally (which just so happens due to weeks of countless mind bending planning hours to end where the food is) at [email protected]'s. Be sure to stop and check in with me before you park your car so you can have an accurate time.

For those of you not attending the rally here is [email protected] address

7:30 Winner of Rally Announced and prize given.

After this point its up in the air, we are getting kegs at Davids, so you can drink there **If you are 21 or over**, or you can go down to Sixth street. Just make sure that if you are drinking at [email protected]'s that you have a way to get back home or to your hotel... I highly doubt he wants you guys passed out all over his floor.

"getting" = understanding i.e " i just dont get him"

now "having" on the other hand...i.e. "Steve had Andres last night and Andres liked it" brings on a whole differant meaning

having never been to one of these things before ...

are the rally directions going to be

* turn-by-turn
* mileage
* speed-vs-distance

basically, do I need a navigator?

the directions tell you where to turn and onto what roads. naviagators help for the trivia hints. you shouldnt have a problem getting to the roads and reading them if you go the speed limit *which is the goal *

i went thru the course while going the speed limit and timed it. Basically ppl are going to start with 100 points, for every minute early you are (which means you were speeding) you get 1 point for every minute you are early. If you are late (which means you were slow or got lost) you get one point for every two minutes you are late.

Every wrong answer for trivia questions gets you one point

the person closest to 100 points wins.

Yes, I see the difference between "getting" and "having".

"I am having a hard time getting her"

is much different than

"I am getting a hard time having her"

So you staying at my place Lux? hahahaha

It means she is giving him a hard time having her... or somesuch.

Might I suggest a very conservative pace for the drive in case there is some moistness in the air, of which News8 is predicting a 20-30% of? I sure hope it ain't wet (even if wetness is the essence of beauty )
