Default 05 sti TMIC fit a 07 wrx?

Will a 2005 sti TMIC fit my 2007 wrx or should I look for a 2006-2007? I already have tabs on a 06-07 sti hood scoop spitter. And I know Iíll have to buy and modify the turbo inlet hose if Iím not mistaken. Thanks for the help!

Edit: I guess the better question is are the 04-07 sti TMIC and y-pipe all the same?

Per the last time this thread was asked I found the following information I hope this helps:
It should work fine but you will need either the samco hose kit or the aluminum inlet pieces from the STi intercooler and the elbow that goes on the turbo. try to get the front hard vaccum lines as well since the WRX ones won't bolt to the STi intercooler. They can still be used though they just won't be fastened to the intercooler unless you rig up some spacers or something. You will also need the air splitter and the gasket from an STi. You can get those from subarugenuineparts.com for about 120 shipped. This is the setup I have on my '06 which should be the same as your '07. Let me know if you have any more questions.

Thanks for this. I saw this thread but thought it wasnít off a 2005? But I believe it will work. I totally forgot about the vacuum lines though.

What? why would you have to modify the turbo inlet? The intercooler should fit without any of that, you may need an offset throttlebody coupler and you may need to get different support brackets from an sti. The PCV hoses on the front of it have the same routing from sti to wrx, you can reuse the aluminum piping from your wrx or what comes on the sti, you could even go so far as to get oil resistant fuel line and run it to a vacuum T.

I've heard that the STI intercoolers will make contact with the A/C hardline on the firewall. Some people bend those, but I'll just buy the STI hose and install that before I get my A/C fixed.

Does anyone know the P/N for the firewall mounted A/C hose on a 2007 STI?

You are correct and this is actually the biggest PITA with the install, it gets worse with an aos too.
