Question Step by Step Intake installation?

Where can i find step by step instructions on how to install a RAM air induction or a Cold air intake system? .. there used to be something about RAM air in the mod section but i guess it vansished..

Here's a good starting point on removing the silencer that's within the fenderwell....

If you have a 00+ Impreza, ImprezaRS.com has a cold air intake for sale that I've heard nothing but great things about. If you have the MAF Based 98-99 (like me), he's working on a cold air kit for folks like me. Here's the link to his site: Imprezars.com

yea i have 99 and i'm a little sketchy on all teh MAF issues that go along with the addition of an intake ..

bluey - I'd suggest just getting the K&N filter, and waiting until ImprezaRS finishes the cold air intake, or come up with one on your own. I've heard of folks running dryer hose into their fenderwell off the filter. ":^)

I might try making one myself, once I get the filter in. I'll post pics when and if I do it!
