Default 2018 TypeRA Thread or 575 Overpriced Cars

Didn't see a thread yet so I thought I would start one up. Post pics of your car and more importantly your number. If you do not like the RA, hate the price, think some other car is better, etc... don't bring it up here please. Lets keep this a fun thread for Type RA owners to share their cars & numbers.

Picking my RA up Saturday - 55/500 (USA)

Actually , Tesla said 3-6-9 are the numbers to understanding the entire universe so I'd say 69/500 is far beyond a 10 year old lol

Congrats, but I can't imagine getting this over other cars in (or under) that 50K price range.

And that's coming from someone who bought a hyper blue sti.

I love those wheels. I wonder if Subaru will be selling them to the public so I can grab a set.

picking up mine next week. 45/75 Canadian

my buddy's Type RA is also 55/75 Canadian

Will any owner mod or actually track this car? If everyone post their stock RA here is interesting yet kinda boring....( because they all look the same?)

My story. Preorderd my car day of original announcement with condition price could not be over 48K.

Waited 8 months, price comes in, 50K. Cancelled order cause I'm a man of my word.

Fast forward, to this morning. My salesman calls me up saying the guys in line behind me either backed out or didn't qualify in financing and if I still want my white one...it's in. While i was there i could hear salespeople calling everyone who had interest that it was about to be sold LOL.

I drove up...like they say if it was meant to be..it's meant to be. Say Hello to 89/500

No this time around I had come to terms with the 50k and knew what the price was before I put down my depositover the phone to hold it until I could drive up there. I paid MSRP.

I wish i could take delivery of mine so bad....just too much money. Letting my friend buy it under the agreement that he can only sell it to me.

yay! Don't forget about the 1000 mile break in...the car basically begs you to be pushed...it's pretty amazing. The new 3rd gear feels like boost city. Gonna be a tough break in period.

I never do a break in on any new STi or WRX I have had. I honestly think it causes more issues down the line. I have so many friends who follow it to a T until 1000 Miles then years later have engine/transmission issues.

I drive how I want day 1 and have put 100K+ on STi's and never had one engine issue.

You are right though, 3rd gear is boost city and pulls like a train to redline

Curious if there is a number 13. Subaru has omitted number 13 in special editions in the past.

Enjoy gentlemen!

Awesome congrats! I wonder why ours came in so fast I don't see anyone else with theirs? Maybe it was based on when we dropped a deposit? I dropped mine June 1st I believe. You?
