I had the white NA with offset black stripes and roll bar. Can't say I had any good runs yesterday. Pushed the car to its limits and any harder and it would rotate. You can only go so far on Kumho summer tires and $350 coilovers.
The lunch is always very good with NE-SVT.

"If offered by the manufacturer for a particular model and year, the
use of shims, special bolts, removal of material to enlarge mounting
holes, and similar methods are allowed and the resulting alignment
settings are permitted even if outside the normal specification or
range of specifications recommended by the manufacturer."

Any one know if Subaru offered different camber bolts for aditional adjustment from SPT or as an option at any point? Not sure what the factory adjustment range is but I'm assuming it can't be much more than -1 to -1.5. Would love to run around -2 or maybe even -2.5. Bought some camber bolts before reading all the rules

There's no allowance nor option for it for the (older) Subarus. Best you can do is to set loosen all the nuts and bolts (3x strut tops nuts and both lower clevis bolts), jack up the car using the rotor hat until the car starts to lift, max out the camber adjustment, then torque everything down. I think I got at least -1.3* with that.

Hey, a question for anyone who went to the Oct 27th NE-SVT autoX -- there was a guy taking pictures around the tower area, black jacket and yellow shirt I believe. Anyone know who he is? I saw him clicking away as I pulled some 4-wheel drift hoonage in front of him.

Yeah. That was Nick Crovo. He comes to a lot of these events and always gets great pics. The pictures from this event are not up yet though. His site is http://www.nickcrovo.com

Any one plan on picking up new tires for next season? Hoping to get into some RS-3's or try out the new ZII's, but like most of us, only time will tell if my wallet will be able to survive the hit when the time comes

Not sure yet if I'm attending this one. If some of my friends want to go, I may at least go to spectate.

Bored at work and already praying for the 2013 season to start.

Been using this video from 2012 Nationals to hold me over for a bit:

Quite a few subies in it and oh the noises...

I'm thinking about building a TAG cart that I can race for now and eventually get my 3 year old son in next season. It's called budget racing if such a thing exists.
