What an idiot! What was that guy thinking?!?
I installed car audio for awhile, no matter HOW cool a car was, I didn't take it any further than straight into the bay and straight back to the parking lot. I knew if ANYTHING happened, it'd be on me... |

Wow! I just read this and since everyone else said take the STI and use your insurance check for something else the only thing I was gonna add was to have them give you a second set of wheels with snow tires.......but then I read that you will be transferring shortly. Have fun in your STI!

Only thing I would say different, is that you SHOULD service it at the dealer. Most places you get a cup of coffee while you wait. You would get a steak dinner and a lap dance! When you cam in for an oil change, the owner of the dealership would supervise. They would make sure you never had any problems ever again! And when you move to Miami, tell the service writer how you got your car. Chuckles, and additional care in the shop!
