Found a chop of one lowered on Jalopnik.
Pic's of it at the LA auto show here: http://jalopnik.com/5963959/2014-for...erformance-car

Wow, that looks pretty damn good. Damn it. I said I was going to keep my current vehicle for a while and with a 4-month old child now it is going to be harder and harder to not have my wife murder me if I change cars frequently. Damn this car sounds and looks like a dream come true hot hatch. Argh.......

I like it a lot. Wish you could get one stripped with just the Recaros. I'm talking crank windows, rubber floor, and a plain radio with an aux input. I don't want any gadgetry, just the car and the seats. Might need to test drive one of these.

I still lust for a first gen Focus RS.
I wish this little thing was awd with two doors. Such a car would be irresistable to me. That aside, the current offering is still very drool-inducing, although I agree with others that irs would have really sealed the deal. Still, 200hp, 34mg, and REAL seats is enough to entice me. A six speed too! |

Gonna have to scratch mine with a cheese grater to keep from buying one in January. Or February. I just bought my Mazda3 Skyactiv this last March, and it's been really good to me. Fun, useful, and easily averaging 38-40mpg over the 14,500 miles I've put on it. But this...this is so enticing...ugh. Can't justify. Just want.

Never understood why such a tiny car would be fitted with 5 doors. It would be so much sleeker and comfortable as a 2 door hatch for those that matter, the driver and front passenger. I know its all about marketing and a small 2 door is hard to market but come on people, a 2 door hatch makes more sence in this size than craming 5 doors. |

At least visually it does.
I don't really care about the 2 vs 4 doors debate any more past what I've already posted. But, with all these small cars appearing, there's a niche that I feel everyone is overlooking. A tiny, minimalist car with real power, and a good chassis, with two freakin doors!!! I had a first gen ZX3 and I thought it was a great car other than the crappy transmission, which didn't fail, it just sucked. But I got a GOOD deal on it. I thought it was well laid out, and very practical. The rear seats were fine for even roadtrips, never had any complaints. And it looked, imo, much better than its sedan or five door counterparts. I've always been looking for a nice turbo awd justy. They're hard to find and they have a cult-like following. I want a modern Justy! I think a fiesta-sized awd turbo would sell really well. But I DO think that this Fiesta looks like an awesome little car, and I AM very much looking forward to the local Ford dealers getting some. |

I know this is pure speculatory crap. But i found msyelf wondering how much the FiST would actually be worth. So i thought i would just do some comparison for the ... of it. So i looked up the price of a Focus St and compared it to the base titanium. The base ST is 23,7 and the Titanium is 24,2. So i jumped over to look at the pricing of a fiesta. The Fiesta titanium starts at 18,2. So my curiousity is a bit peaked. I doubt they would price it at or around 18,2, but if they price do. I'd be thinking Game on. Anyways. Purely speculation on my part. but I find the pricing interesting none the less.
A real honest guess would place it around 20 +/- with destination BlitZ |

From what I understand same as ST with a few exceptions:
Oxford White, Ingot Silver, Tuxedo Black, Race Red, Performance Blue, Green Envy and Molten Orange Quote:
It would be really cool if they could somehow come in under 20k in order to deploy the SRT4 old campaign. For those of you that were around back when the Neon SRT4 launched, I remember ads saying 'Fastest car under $20k'. On second though, it's sort of crazy 10 years later we are excited about a car with nearly the same horsepower and price. At least it's not a Neon... |

Holy crap, this is probably going to be my next car.
Before I bought my '08 Impreza, I was seriously considering a Fiesta, but the lack of power put me off. Once Ford released the ST in Europe, my mouth was watering, but now that they've given it proper power here in NA, I'm definitely going to be looking at these new Fiestas! I will probably wait until the new WRX is announced though, I'm curious about the price/weight of the new one. |

I rode in a fiesta in Germany. It was well before they ever made it to our shores. I remember thinking that they were lucky to get all the fun micro-cars. My friend Bianca, in germany, had a VW Lupo. Man, that Lupo was a cool little car.
I'm looking for something to trade my lamented impreza on, and this ST is almost exactly what I want. |

No shame in waiting. As excited as I am about this car, I will be waiting until it's been out for a year or so. Let them work the kinks out and let the hype die down a bit. Quote:
I had the same disdain when I saw the Punto Abarth reviews. I was super bummed that we didn't have any decent micro-speeders. The 500 did not suffice, and the MCS is a pricy mess. The ST looks pretty tasty and will probably be pretty good in the comfort and maintenance dept. |

Wheres the RS?
It would awesome if they made a Fiesta RS (that is all wheel drive). This would be much better than the rumoured 4 door Focus RS. Then we really would have a rally replica!

Oh doesn't he want a all wheel coupe though which there is no market for?
I'm just saying it would be fantastic if another manufacturer made a 3 or 5 door DIT all wheel drive hatch to compete with Subaru. The only real competition is the Golf R which is very expensive. Mitsi's Evo is a dead man walking. |
