This thread really inspires me. Just got 2018 Forester XT but bummed I cannot use my 16" Speedline Corse rally wheels on it, doesn't clear its brakes.

Someone buy these wheels so I can source larger diameter for my future rally FXT?

I'm leaning towards Sparco Terra, OZ rally wheels, or Method MR502

Just downsize to base Forester front brake calipers and rotors so you can use your Speedlines.

Thought about it. Not cost effective. Plus it's also driven by wife who doesn't want me to swap out stuff besides wheels tires

My build!
I did everything on the car, forester lift, custom front and rear bumper and the equivalent of "Cobb's stage 2" mods.

Such a fun little buggy in the desert.

I have a 1999 Legacy with Outback spacers and 04 Forester struts and springs. Would I be able to run 215/70r16 or would I be better off with 215/65r16? Thanks

Going with the rally inspired build. 2" ADF lift kit with Yokohama Geolander AT tires along with some other mods and goodies on my 2016 WRX.
(not just for looks, allows me to get to trails for mountain biking, climbing, kayaking, etc.)

Looks good! I've used the Geolandar's for years on a wide variety of vehicles. Would like to get them on my 15 WRX

They have been good so far. I am starting to see some outer wear due to my inability to restrain myself from sometimes railing some corners as if I were on my Michelin Pilots, but overall pretty happy with the setup.
