I can't wait to try it out hopefully I get the update tonight. I use summon everyday because I get my kids out the driveway and then use summon to park car in the garage while I carry their stuff. I probably will only use advance summon if is raining or something.

Tesla's are all over the place here, so I'm anticipating my opportunity to park in front of one of these indefinitely is likely coming soon.

Don't qualify your rightful complaint. Semen function sucks. Advanced Semen is end of the world scary.

I’m just picturing a store parking lot with a shopping cart behind a whole bunch of Tesla’s so they can’t back out and the driver just standing around trying to figure out what’s happening.

On my way to one of the hospitals today, some dude in his model 3 was to my right and clearly had autopilot on while he was eating his breakfast from a bowl. These are the types of people that show us why we can’t have nice things. I’ve already lost count on the amount of people I see just staring into their laps, likely on the phone or reaching into the back to get things.

I just got home the V10 update and is great. The new driving visualization is awesome it shows how many vehicles the cameras and sensors are tracking while you are driving. It somehow gives me even more confidence about autopilot.

The dashcam feature now also records the rear camera.

We also got Hulu, Netflix, Spotify and other games.

Smart summon doesn't suck at least on the almost empty parking lot that I tried on. Is a little bit scary depending on where you are standing because you cannot see how close is getting to the curb or the other cars. It seems that somehow it recognizes if you are trying to summon the car out of the parking lot. I am not sure that I will use this feature with people walking or cars driving around until there is more feedback from other owners. I will probably use this feature if is raining hard and the car is far away.

Best car ever

Has anyone put aftermarket wheels on their AWD Model 3? I was thinking of some OG TE37 but wasnt sure what offset and size to go with.

this. prime example is costco when it rains, people pulling up to the front of the store to load their **** into their car as all the other people who didn't try to navigate around them.

Yeah... that's something I'd call people out for loudly to bring everyone's attention to them.

OG TE37 will need to be redrilled for the M14 stock wheel studs. TE37s Ultra 2 19" or 20" will work without redrilling.
The recommended offsets seem to be for 8" wide +20-25, 9" wide +30 and 9.5" +35.

In the time it took to auto summon you could have just walked to the car

Reminds me of the first self parking systems, seems a little slow and unsure of itself. I'm sure it will improve with future updates.

What an absolute joke. People are really this lazy, and this stupid? Youíve got a % of the population, and itís large, hooked on ďconvenienceĒ yet many things arenít, they are just marketed that way and people eat it up. You can cook a decent meal faster than you can warmup your car, drive to the crackhouse to get your sack of crap, and drive back. That idiot could have got in his car and left quicker by just walking and entering the vehicle. Itís just another gimmick that is virtually useless to anyone that isnít disabled. Poor diet is the leading cause of mortality in the United States so eat better food, and exercise often including walking to your car. Youíll live longer.

He just got a new feature and he is just trying out . I don't think many people will use smart summon unless is raining really bad.

It rains here a lot and when it does it can flood. Never had a single instance of needing this. That's what an Umbrella is for. I shop at Costco for my groceries, excellent fish, and fruit. I go every week. I go on a weekday at night and park in the sticks even though the parking lot isn't a cluster F like it is on the weekend (I wouldn't go to a Costco on the weekend if the ish was free). Healthy to walk, umbrella is $15-20. Summons is just another gimmick. Hope this silly feature doesn't cause the car to hit a pedestrian, especially a child. There will be hell to pay.

My Model 3 doesn't have FSD, Enhanced Autopilot or Summon activated (didn't pay for it)...I actually like to drive it, myself.

It's a great car for drivers too.

This feature is needed for self driving . Parking lot self driving is probably more difficult to solve than city driving. It seems that Tesla is collecting tons of data everytime someone uses advance summon.

I'm curious to see the final legal stance on who is responsible for these accidents while using this feature. The "driver" or Tesla. There was literally nobody in the driver seat able to take over, unlike the previous auto pilot accidents.

Don't stress over other people's decisions, you'll live longer . "Yesterday I was clever, so I wanted to change the world. Today I am wise, so I am changing myself." -Rumi

Juanmedina, I know on Subarus I would never run staggered wheels but seems some are doing it on the model 3. Is it because they're not the AWD version? Would it be stupid to run staggered on my awd model 3?

There seems to be some people running staggered setups even on the performance version.

Konig Ampliforms
19x9.5 et25, 245/40
19x10.5 et23, 285/35
Unplugged Performance moderate springs

You can fit a lot of tire on the rear but for me I would like to able to rotate the tires so I rather run a square setup.
