intake+safc=help???
I have a hand made intake (weapon R style), with Reactive air filter and a cold air boxe plus 2.5' exhaust on a 99 RS and i need help.
My car was boging at 5500rpm, i install a safc and i did correction at hi-trt (at 5000 and 6000rpm). It run better but it still boging at 6000rpm and i can't run my RPM to my cut-off. I bigin my correction at 1% to 35% and it never get better. Do you think my intake is in troble or do you think i need more fuel or etc....???? PLEASE HELP ME!!!! Excuse my english but i try!!!

You should try increasing your fuel @ that RPM your engine is running short on breath (redline on the SOHC is 6250).

Your MAF sensor is actually misreading the airflow. This is causing your car to run to run lean, and the knock sensor is kicking in.
Like Jack said, increase the fuel up there and it should solve it. |

Do i go with a biger fuel pomp or a fuel regualtor will be ok???

i put a holly fuel pump in and it took care of the same problem hope it works out

You should have enough flexibility on your AFC to take care of the problem.
You can also richen things up a bit by putting a different fuel pressure regulator. Bring it up a few PSI, though I don't know if it will really help all that much.
