So how long should a build take
So on december 24 i droped my car off at FIS in mckinney. i recently blew my motor so i am having them install all new stuff.
Ver7 block Ver8 heads(avc working) Ver 8 intake manifold ver 7 ecu weld my 20g and put on the external set up. so that is what is happening now. so it is exactly 3 months after i droped my car off. so fis has told me about 2 or 3 times that i was going to get my car back and i have gone up there to get it and then they said O it is not ready. so that happend 3 times and then they said i could get it yesterday, then i call them and guess what, i cant get it. i am not trying to talk bad about FIS. i mean steve and rick have been nothing but great. it just seems like 3 months is so long. how long does it take to do something like this. well once again steve says that i can get my car this weekend. i think i will get it sunday. i dont know y i wrote this i guess i just wanted to release a little tension that has been building up for months. I WANT MY CAR BACK AHHHHHHH.

be patient, it will be done right
typical build time (IMO) is 1 to 2 weeks per $thousand, *after* you get the parts |

exactly what the above three said... you want something done right, you pay your dues.
now if you want to continue swearing at me and calling me names, go ahead, its the internet, I don't care. Just about everyone here knows how I easy I am to work with and how nice I am. Keep the pressure on them, you'll get it back before you know it. Quote:
