Are you talking about the first image? If so, I use Adobe Lightroom for all of my image processing.

Finally your car dressed as a true Mainer! Let me tell you, white hides quite a bit. My blue shows a LOT more dirt/grim/salt!

happy New Year J!

I'm glad I found this thread, subscribed of course.. I saw that your wife has a Mazda 3 which made me chuckle because I currently have an 07 Mazdaspeed3 which I am planning on giving to my girlfriend and use her Ford for trade in. I am planning on ordering a SWP 5-doors WRX, still debating on if the limited is worth the $1000 extra over the premium.

Will be following this thread, I had a 06 white 2.5i before the speed3, I just got to go back to white after silver lol. This build is just what I want to do with my future WRX.

I just can't wait to finally order it and let the waiting start and get it right after the salt sweeps off the roads, WNY's salt acculmation is higher than snow lol.

I'll update with you once I get it!

Nice 5 door, white was my first choice but it wasn't in the cards for me. I've seen you driving around a few times. Maybe sometime if I'm in the area ill contact you, wouldn't mind checking out your ride in person if you were down for that. Might even have the infrared camera on hand.

Thanks for your input, I need to see if I would like the leather over cloth, what else does the limited come with that premium doesn't, I.e., navi?

Also, do you order your wrxs? How long did you have to wait, any accessories that you think that is totally worth it? Such as auto dimming mirror, wheel locks etc etc.

With the leather the heated seats stay on until uou turn them off. On the cloth the heated seats turn off after a short duration

Great man, Glad you stumbled by it too! I have some good things coming in 2013 and am excited to share them as always

My wife and I love the Mazda3 too, it's really funny when we drive around together both of us with white 5-door hatches that are low with gunmetal wheels, lol

Hey, where are you located? I stay pretty local to rockland/rockport so you must be close. Swing on by if you see me, just don't my salty mess of a car right now, haha!

Agreed, those are the two reasons I went for the limited. You can retrofit the HID's but the leather would be something I wouldn't give up.

The only difference is the Leather and HID's (also 11 lbs heavier because of the leather) Nav is optional on all models but not standard on any.
I had to wait for 6 months for mine. I ordered it a couple days after the tsunami hit in Japan in March of '11 and didn't take delivery until September so it was a long wait. Most special orders are filled within 8-12 weeks depending on the color choice. I didn't order it with anything, you can add all of the accessories you want after the purchase for much cheaper and without raising your car payment. That $300 auto dimming mirror will cost you $600 by the time you pay the car off.

Thanks for the info, I didn't know they did that. Weird that they did though.

Well said about not buying accessories since it adds up, maybe I can get them once the car arrives or so! 6 months is a long wait! I'm pretty sure it is worth it tho! 8-12 weeks.. Hmm, I don't wait it to see salt in her first year so end of April is when I would like it to arrive lol.

Let me know if you run into any problems, be glad to help out!
Hey, I've been debating between the performance and premium gauges. My first question is, how much clearance was left under the alternator after the op sensor was installed? From what i can tell the performance sensor is about and inch taller than the premium... After doing a little more research it sounds like the premium gauges are worth the extra money, my only question is if you had a need for the metric adapter kit or if they were good to go out of the box?

Sometimes I wish I lived in an area that my car will never look like this again. It's been over 2 months since my last wash and I'm struggling with going through the winter without a garage.

Hey J,
The stock sensor does have a different thread then the the Prosport. I used the galley plug found (HERE)
You'll need to take out the stock galley plug and sensor and replace with the galley plug above and the Prosport sensor.

Cheers!

I agree with you on that! I finally had a chance to hand wash my car on Sunday and can't believe how many stone chips I have already. Also have these little specs of what looks like rust pits.

I applied opti-coat when the car was new but it only helps so much.
