Yes and yes.

You have a ton of research to do. Asking this way is possible the worst way to mod your car. If you randomly go on what people say on the Internet you can severely damage your car.

How do you plan on tuning for these mods? Why the up pipe if you aren't going to go EWG?

Don't look for people's input. READ the sticky threads at the top of this forum. Then research our car parts and vendor review forums. Then consult with your tuner and your local parts source or internet parts source if not local. All this is KEY to finding great parts. If you don't do the homework and want to get spoonfed, you are relying on strangers on the internet...and many of us are morons. And sadly us morons won't be there to say sorry when you put 4 holes in your fenders from where the pistons left the block due to our bad advice. Research twice, purchase once. It is CRITICAL.

Up pipe will get you nothing worth wasting money on. Intake is fairly useless as well.

What downpipe to get? Spin the wheel and pick whatever because 95% of them bolt up to the stock turbo, and even aftermarket turbos. I suggest utilizing a good SEARCH, UNABOMBERS MANIFESTO, and time spent researching next time.

If you change your turbo you'll need to get a new washer fluid pump and headlights as well. Be sure to factor that into your cost analysis.

If you're open to buying used parts check out the private classified section here, Craigslist, and eBay for used deals.

I found a Cobb downpipe in great condition on eBay from a good seller shipped for $260. If you go used, don't forget the gaskets.

What exhaust did you get? Do you want to go catted or cattless with your downpipe?

1) I have the Invidia downpipe and love it
2) Don't bother with an uppipe unless you want to go EWG
3) What's the reason for the intake? Your stock box will be good for the stage 2 setup you're looking for

You forgot that he's going to have to change the muffler bearings. Are you trying to let this kid blow his car up!?

Really though. A pipe is a pipe. You aren't going to see any horsepower difference between the big name brands. Just pick the one that has the most "good fitment" reviews that's the cheapest.

I'm making a tad over 300whp on the stock intake and a wrx up-pipe. You don't need either of those. Pick any downpipe that has the least amount of "bad fitment" reviews. It's a pipe. They all do the same damn thing.
