mod friendly dealers
Any of you guys have any positive or negative experience with the dealers service depts? I've been going to Pitre in Scottsdale as well as Camelback. The only thing I'm planning on for now is an Amsoil filter and Lary's intake. Just wondering if anyone with mods has gotten any warranty static.

My experiences have led me to believe that Thomas Motors on Bell is mod friendly, but the service department absolutely sucks.

I don't think Pitre is mod friendly. They would not troubleshoot an issue because my intake plenum was removed. Fixed the issue myself with an ECU reset.

Looks pretty bleak so far. I'm going to call Camelback today and see what's up with them. Thanks guys.

I was going to goto them for my 7500 mile check up, but they wanted something like $150 for it. I told them to shove it.

$150?! That's pretty steep. I did talk to someone there about mods, and he seemed cool about it. They actually understand the car breaking to aftermarket part relationship-i.e. you can't blame a broken tranny on an intake. Too bad they're so expensive. Don't all the dealerships charge the same?
