Default LGT Intake manifold on wrx

I Have a spare 98 LGT Intake mani sitting in my shed, wondered if this would work for my 02 wrx,... I know the LGT uses a side feed injector setup. Is this setup similar to the STI side feeds. It appears to have larger runners and more area. I have read the newer 2.5i intake manifold has top end gains, is it possible this manifold should show some gains?

Thoughts??
Thanks

you have topfeed injectors, I believe. Barring that, it's probably compatible. Don't think you'll get much in the way of gains though.

98 LGT uses an EJ25D motor. The WRX, while still a DOHC motor, has a different mounting pattern for the manifold. They are not interchangable.

That said, the 05 2.5i manifold is the one you want and it fits.
