Default how to remove factory 3 gauge pod to check wiring?

please help me out with some tips...im afraid to just rip it off. thanks

It's kinda hard for me to explain without actually showing you. The gauge pod housing actually needs to be pulled toward you to be removed. I installed mine myself and have had to take it out a couple of times. Just make sure you don't scratch the dash upon removal. Hopefully someone else will chime in with some other helpful tips.

its pretty hard to hold onto...and its not coming off easy...what did u use to get it off?

if all else fails, a flathead screwdriver wrapped in electrical tape will help you pry without scratching things.

you also might want to check out subaruparts, they have the installation instructions for a lot of accessories in pdf form on their site. you could look at the instructions and it might help you figure out how to get it off.
