Default WTT: My 05 STi front end body parts for 02/03 WRX front end

Want to trade all the sheet metal in front of the doors, hood, fenders, grill bumper, HID headlights from my white 2005 STi for your 02 or 03 WRX front end. My car is very clean, dent free with Stone guard on perfect HID headlights and also on the front portion of the fenders. All my front end is stock STi except the hood is WRX and the grills are black custom mesh.

We swap, part for part for your clean straight 02 or 03 WRX pieces. We would have a shop do the swap here in Yakima Washington and split the cost of the labor.

PM me for photos.

Default re the core support

So have you done this swap or seen it done?
If so do I have to buy a new 02WRX core support and also one for the 05 and have them welded in. Or cut out the old ones and swap them and weld them in?

Thanks for the info

you will need core support. if you swap. 02-03 to 04-05 or to 06-07.

If you have two good cars, body shop can swap core supports for you. Not hard at all. Several spot welds and core support comes off. Check for the pricing with body shop. Just let them know that cars are identical and Core supports ARE interchangble.

ProdriveRex
So you can reuse the core support.
But then you need the specs and measurements to install the core support in exactly the right place. Where do you come up with those. You keep the radiators with the original cars right? Thanks for the info, I want to have all my duck in a row before I have someone travel over here and make the swap.

Yes you keep radiators with original car. Its a straight swap if body shop will have both cars there. its a no brainer. They can mesure them before they take em apart.

Default ProdriveRex here is the answer for you

ProdriveRex,
Do like I'm going to do, swap front ends and then paint it a different color. Maybe a WRX color or maybe something completly different, then you have a one of a kind. I'm going with WRX 2002 Blaze Yellow, that Mellow Yellow!!

Default Silver WRX owner in Washington, I lost your message

You answered this ad saying you wanted to trade. You have a Silver 02 or 03 WRX. I think you were from Lynwood. I am having problems with my internet provider. When I got back into this thread to reply to your post it was gone. Please repost, or PM me with your phone number in case my internet problems continue.
Thanks Bob
