BACKGROUND: Some background information. I bought the shell on February 9th, Picked up the 95 WRX shell/drivetrain the week after that. This couldn't have been all possible without the awesome guys at www.swapstarproductions.com

Total swap took 25 Days from Shell to Running. Most of that was random prep and whatnot, the car was a bareshell with just a completed RHD firewall 2 days ago. We dumped evertyhing into it in 2 days and it fired up on the FIRST try.

Nope, no maintaince. Even running on sale JDM oil with lots of JDM dirt. Same plugs as well, havn't changed a thing on it but the motor doesn't care. unknown miles but it runs great, steady idle at 850. Just have to burn off the gas offboost now so I can go get some real gas. This is old sludge from an Impreza L gastank thats been sitting for months at least.

heres a few more pics:

We threw in some new gear oil, bled brakes, put in some new diff oil, plugs are ok, oil is...ok. Going to drain and flush everything after i run it for a while. Oh and we threw a bottle of octane booster in the gas tank. I dont know how much gas in in there, but that bottle was for a full tank so it should be at least 91 fuel now, but doesnt take away from the fact the gas is dirty as hell.
