Here's my 99 with Legacy GT wheels & hoodscoop. Still looking for set of stiffer/lower springs for the RS struts that are waiting to be put on my car though, don't like L model struts.
Does anybody know if L springs are the same as RS springs?

No, fortunately they are not the same. RS springs will drop your L lower. I don't remember exactly how much, maybe a half inch or so. Someone else here might know more precisely. Also, I know someone selling their RS springs for $20+shipping. But I would spend the extra money for a nice set of Eibach springs. 1-1.2 inch drop, so they won't strain your RS struts...and still plenty comfortable enough, yet with Eibach's world-famous performance. Prolly perfect for your application.

Nice ride, btw.

FujiHeavyFreak....I just installed RS struts and springs sunday. It lowered the car roughly 5/8" to 3/4". My previous pics are before the new springs. Havne had time to get new pics. By the way for you and all of the other L owners, don't get the RS top mounts. They are the same as the L. Maybe people already know that but I didn't, 60 mistake. I have Mitchell's Collision Estimating and reference guide, they are identical part numbers. If you just get the RS springs and some newer struts you should be satisfied. Unless you want more of course.

Buster

Edit--Oops forgot you already have RS struts....

That sucks about the RS springs... I dont want my car any lower, its too low as it is! I think its the 14" rims with shietty rubber though thats causing the too-low problem...

BrysImpreza, thanks! That pic was taken a long time ago. I love my wagon a lot, too bad I totalled it last March T_T. after that, I got a 2nd hand 2.5RS for a cheap price, and I finally got enough money to convert it to the V4 look, that's the thing I had been dreaming of doing to my wagon, but now I could only do it on another car, I still feel so sorry for her!

I really miss the practicality of my old wagon, now my dream is to someday convert my RS to a wagon T_T.

Damn we've got some sweet L's up in here, I'm gonna take some great pix during spring break when I put on the new bumper, hoodscoop, detail the engine, repaint the interior, recarpet the floors, integrate a false floor in the trunk to display my amp under thick plexi and sub (in the spare tire compartment)

Make it look pretty and then offer it for sale to buy a new WRX Wagon!!!
