Hey, check out the aftermarket forced induction forum. There's plenty of information there.

I'd guess the 2.5L on the '03-'04 will be very similar to previous 2.5's , but if not, you'd probably have to custom fabricate your own up-down pipes.

Other than that, make sure you ahve good engine management. This is KEY. You don't want to half-ass this step. Many turbo'd users here would recommend going stand-alone ECU. Some kits out there include this.

Power gains? Well, depends how much boost you want to push. Most people start out with 5 lbs of boost. A 2.5RS pushing 2.5 psi can be tuned to be faster than a stock wrx. But once you push more, be prepared to spend more on building up your motor.

Read up in the aftermarket forced induction forum

For about... what $4000?... you can get a turbo on one. From the factory too! With a warranty! I believe they're called... hmmm... WRX? That sounds right.

Sorry. I'm an arse. But I think that's the best decision concerning 03-04 models.

Now that's just no fun. Any idiot can go out and buy a really fast car, but it takes a special kind of idiot to go out and build his own
