wow, I really get raped by the PAX.

I beat Brian by a couple seconds (I thought) raw time, and he still beat me...

damn, I can't wait until the WRX gets reclassified!

oh well, congrats, hoser!

Don't feel so bad Jim, you knew you were gonna get your arse beat before you even showed up!

Actually I really started doing better those last 3 runs. My best time was only .7 seconds off your best and my average was .6 seconds off yours. Throw the rex's wonderful PAX in there and wah-lah. Butt whooping (can I safely say ASS around here yet?) paxed time when compared to that funny PAX they stick you with.

I had a great time at the MassMiata events with you and Pete this year. That's for all your insight and help in getting me addicted to auto-xing! Can't wait for next year!

Pete, told ya you did 5 events!!

Doesn't mean that the PAX is going to be that much different. It's not really a re-classification, but a re-organization of where the cars are.

- What's in a name?
The PAX for GS this year may be DS PAX next year (follows the cars). Why? Look at this years GS cars going to DS... IT-R, Eclipse Turbo AWD, WRX, TT, etc...GS Fast cars. Only a Stock RS (GS next year still) should have a *better* pax than DS.

So in reality, the PAX may not change at all. DS could possibly have this years GS PAX. No change there.

The only car I can see benefiting from this move is the '98-'01 RS. It's going to be a top contender in GS next year, looking at it's competiton. The '02 has yet to be proven in Auto-x.

So.....a question for someone with a rulebook and a moment of spare time. Where will my wagon be with an exhaust and Sti suspension?

Ain't gonna really matter to me what happens since I'll most likely be in SM next year.

Curt, I'm guessing SM, since that's the mods I'm gonna have.

At least I will have good company. The rest of these guys are just afraid to get beat by wagons. It really would be embarassing wouldn't it.

KC,
Are the 2002 SCCA rules and classifications finalized and available yet? I'm really interested in the new class for the WRX (DS?) and are the same mods still allowed in "stock"?
R-compounds, struts, cat-back exhaust....
This will help me decide what mods I do to my car next year.

Hey Brian,

Hide that MBC really well, or better yet, let me rent it for each event. I will be in SM anyways.

Hehe Curt, I will J/K I'll take it out for most events (where it affects my class or PAX).

Unfortunately its just collecting dust right now. I haven't installed it since I took it out after that first week. I need to install my boost guage. I just got my gauge pod tuesday so maybe I'll do it this weekend.

It's ok Pete...if I have to buy an STi to keep our PAX's alike, then so be it

But I will own you sooner or later!!

I dunno...if I'm not paxed as hard next year, as KC suggests, then things could be much closer...

If not, oh well, I can still beat you raw time most of the time

And Brian...well, I can't really talk crap to you, either...cause you're running on RE-92's, so you still have an excuse

Stock is stock. Expect the same rules as this year, just the cars are moving around.

Heck, I'll hopefully be ready for SM next year too.

I hate to turn on a fellow wagon owner, but Angel turned a better 1/4 mile time in my car (never drove it before then) than Pete did in his car with an MBC. I can only assume that he is a MUCH better crossdres.......er.......autocrosser than he is a drag racer.

No. Worse. He got beat by a girl in MY car that has NO MBC. He is just to nice to his car and Angel treated my car very rough, but it liked it. It told me so.
