That would be pretty balzy. We focked up the car, but you can pay extra for us to fix it.

Look they focked that Impreza hatchback up by making it even more functional and faster.

Love the seats. You actually get rear vents, and a got damn spare! Throw the 6MT in there and offer it here and make people happy.

I’d prefer mine with a full blown STI treatment.

You’d be damn lucky to get that thing the way it is, CVT and all. Then a stretch for this company to get off their asses and put the WRX 6MT in it. STi treatment with the same gearbox and drivetrain?

2023 WRX shows up with not one change other than price. No running change for 22, no change for 23… what’s going on rally 4? 24 better have the world’s biggest emergency refresh or you’re officially a fraud.

This is the best WRX yet and has been very successful for Subaru. There is no need for any major changes as it remains a fantastic value in the sea of 60 grand Golfs, Civics and Corollas. It is a crazy market with insane mark ups so this is a very appealing choice for anyone looking for a performance sedan with a fantastic 6 speed manual at an affordable price. TheTopher absolutely nailed it in his videos, this car is the real deal.

Ngl, I wouldnt pay more than 43K for a freakin Subaru, especially the WRX. Anything above that is STI territory and needs a benchmarked 330+ hp, with an actual nice interior that separates itself from the rest of the line-up. 45-50k? Why wouldn't the avg consumer just opt for an Audi A4, Q5, S3. Nicer Interior, smoother ride, better transmission, No Unpainted body panels - Same/better AWD capability.
Subaru doesn't get it.

false statement. Depends on how you slice the data. OR what filter you include 'competitors'.

Seriously, the way you shill for the ugliest more meh WRX to day is diabolically insipid

It has no competition. Let’s just finally agree on that. It exists in a niche of 1.

The other cars, in the econobox enthusiast universe, are produced in fewer numbers. So, it’s not comparable.

We are comparing it to the VA’s sales and the VB’s take rate. The actual competition. Not how many Golf R’s are sold.

It is a completely different market today...If you gonna compare VB sales to VA sales compare MK8 to MK7 sales and so on. The fact remains that this is the best selling car in this class, by far.

The market isn’t really different. Just availability.

People do compare the Mk8 to the Mk7. Interior wars are all over the interweb. The Golf R is sold out for the most part or asking a zillion over MSRP. It has no competition. Hatch, awd, turbo, manual. It is the market (GRC isn’t really out yet). We also like it overall.

WRX is the only sedan, awd, turbo, manual. It’s a market of 1. It’s the best seller by default. It has almost always been a market of 1 or 2. Nothing new. We however think the VB is less popular than the VA. Covid or not, it has a lot of headwind to overcome. We are mostly fanboys and we aren’t impressed. That says something.
