Is an Impreza with a Swedish front end allowable here on the Subie site? The car is (supposedly) 99% mechanically the same, so hopefully anything I can learn about the 2005 Impreza will apply to my 2005 9-2x Linear.
My car is a Linear trim level, which in Saab-speak means it is the 2.5L boxer NA. Their Aero level trim was the 2.0L Turbo drivetrain. Mine is a 5MT with 122K on the odometer. Arctic silver with gray and black two tone interior. She has more than her share of sheet metal bumps and scratches, but she looks good from 20 feet! Good news is zero rust, and only one accident, which is documented as a low speed bump of the car in front, so the bumper paint is gouged. Head gaskets were done at 77K, timing belt most recently done at 110K, just rebuilt the shifter knuckle and bushings. Clutch is still good, and runs great with no leaks, drips, or smokes. I'm sure I'll have lots of stupid questions as I go along, but I'll use the search as often as I can.
